Cozy christmas neighbors to lovers second chances sapphic romance
Lost Notes, Found Love
The heart makes its own wish list.
A lost note.
A secret helper.
A holiday that rewrote both their stories.
After divorce, loss, and too many microwaved dinners, Laura Bennett just wants to survive December. Her therapist’s assignment—write a Christmas wish list—feels ridiculous… until one of those wishes appears in her mailbox.
Next door, Jo River is trying to remember how to feel alive again. Finding a stranger’s list in the snow seems harmless—until fulfilling those tiny wishes starts mending her own heart too.
In the glow of fairy lights and falling snow, two lonely women discover that love might be the quietest miracle of all.
Lost Notes, Found Love is a cozy sapphic Christmas romance about neighbors to lovers, second chances, and quiet miracles. When Laura’s Christmas wish list blows into her neighbor Jo’s yard, neither expects it to spark a season of hope, healing, and love. This queer holiday romance blends warmth, humor, and heart—perfect for readers who love gentle stories of connection, kindness, and finding light in dark times.
Author’s Notes About the Book
Lost Notes, Found Love started as a simple wish: to capture what December really feels like. The lights, the quiet, the bittersweet mix of joy and loneliness. Christmas can be magical, but it can also be a season that reminds us of what (or who) we’re missing. I wanted to write a story about two people finding each other in that space—not through grand gestures or holiday miracles, but through small acts of kindness, shared moments, and the courage to open up again.
It’s a story about love arriving softly, when life feels a little too quiet. Set in fictional Redwood Hollow, it brings together cozy holiday charm, gentle humor, and emotional connection.
If you’ve read Bean There, Found You or Chaos Theory, Love Practice, you’ll recognize that same blend of comfort, friendship, and hope that runs through all my stories. And if this is your first time visiting my fictional town—welcome home.
What is Lost Notes, Found Love about?
It’s a cozy, emotional romance about two neighbors brought together by a lost list, causing an unexpected connection between two people who’ve both forgotten how to hope. It’s a story of love, healing, and finding harmony again.
Is Lost Notes, Found Love a standalone?
Lost Notes, Found Love stands on its own with a full, happy ending, BUT it is also part of the bigger Bean There series, where each book is a standalone but set in the same fictional city (Redwood Hollow). Each has the same heartwarming tone, humor, and sense of community.
Is there spice?
It’s a closed-door romance with plenty of chemistry and longing, but the focus is on emotional intimacy, tenderness, and that soft ache of falling in love again.
Do I need to read the other books first?
Not at all.
Who should read it?
Readers who love cozy, heartfelt romance with depth—perfect for fans of Emily Henry, Abby Jimenez, and Ali Hazelwood’s softer side. If you love stories about hope, healing, and creative souls, this one’s for you.
