Sweet enemies to lovers opposites attract sapphic romance
Bean There, Found You
Messy rich girl + coffee shop snark + slow-burn sapphic tension = the perfect pour
Author’s Notes About the Book
This story began with a single “what if”: What if the girl who once made your life miserable suddenly needed your help?
I wanted to write about redemption—about people who have hurt and been hurt, who still have the courage to change. Bean There, Found You is my love letter to imperfect people, to forgiveness, and to the way attraction can bloom in the least likely places (like behind a coffee counter at 8 a.m.).
It’s sharp, funny, and tender all at once. Underneath the banter and spilled espresso, it’s a story about second chances—not just in love, but in who we allow ourselves to become.
What is the book about?
Two former high-school students find themselves working together in the same coffee shop after graduation. Lina—once the rich girl who had it all—has lost everything. Clara—once the quiet, overlooked girl Lina bullied—is the one who’s going to train Lina to become a barista. When Lina becomes Clara’s trainee for the summer, sparks (and coffee) fly. What begins as resentment slowly brews into something real.
Is it a standalone?
Yes. It’s the first book in the Bean There universe, but each romance stands completely on its own with a full emotional arc and happy ending.
Is there spice?
Only kissing.
Do I need to read the other books first?
Not at all.
Who should read it?
Readers who crave character-driven romance, emotional vulnerability, and sarcasm that turns into sincerity. Perfect for fans of Abby Jimenez, Casey McQuiston, and Mazey Eddings.
